Muzzys Regulator Adapter Bypass Hack Conversion Fitting, for Weber Q Q100 Baby Q1000 1200 Q200 Q2000 Q2200 Grill BBQ Grille - Allows use of Any Standard Full Size Propane Bottle Side Regulator & Hose

This is a very easy install that can be done in about 15 minutes but it is recommended that this adapter and conversion be completed by a licensed plumber or certified propane technician. 1. Remove old hose and Weber regulator from the grill. 2. Wrap threads on the male end of this adapter with gas rated teflon tape (usually yellow in color). Do not use teflon tape on the female end. (male end will come with pre-installed teflon tape for your convenience) 3. Install this adapter where the old regulator was removed from. 4. Install new hose with low pressure tank side regulator (sold separately) to the adapter. Can be found at any hardware store in the bbq area. 5. Connect regulator to any standard full size propane tank, ie, 10lb, 20lb, 30lb, 40lb. Note, 1lb throw away bottles will not fit on your new regulator. 6. Slowly open propane tank valve. 7. Test for leaks with a spray bottle filled with water an a tiny bit of dish soap by spraying all connections when under pressure. If you see bubbles forming at any connection, redo the connection before lighting the grill. SEE PHOTOS IN LISTING FOR REFERENCE.

• This listing is for the ADAPTER with pre-installed specialty propane rated telfon tape only. The hose and regulator are not included.
• This fitting will allow the use of any commonly found and much cheaper propane tank hose and bottle side regulator found at any hardware store.
• FITS: Weber Q Q100, Baby Q 1000, Baby Q 1200, Q200, Q2000, Q2200 or variant of same (but not the Q140 or Q1400 electric grills). This is not applicable to the Q3XX series of propane grills. Does not fit Traveler grill.
• The Weber Q regulators are known to fail often and are very expensive to replace. This adapter eliminates the Weber regulator and allows the use of much cheaper regulators as well as the ability to use full size propane tanks.
